Bodyweight 400

Yeah, there’s been plenty of these “100s” workouts around especially after the movie 300 came out. Well, here’s another I put together. It’s a bodyweight 400.

10 Pushups
20 Squats (bodyweight)
10 Burpees
10 V-Ups
20 Jumping Jacks
10 Mountain Climbers
20 Box Jumps

Complete 4 rounds for a total of 400 reps!

Some time ago, my wife told me how she saw Kelly Ripa (of Regis and Kelly) go head to head performing pushups with Jeremy Piven. I *almost* didn’t believe her until I saw it.

As I tell all my female clients… you’ve gotta (and they will) be able to perform regular pushups. It’s one of the most basic movements and is very functional.

Aim to hit your performance goals and the body will come.

I’ve started using powerlifting movements in succession to create an incredible power endurance complex that can do wonders for fat burning.

Hang Clean to a Front Squat


then to a Split Jerk


Perform 1 rep each and continue the succession
until you hit 6 reps of each movement. Rest 60
seconds and repeat for a total of 5 rounds!
